It was meant to be a nervous wait for All Black captain Richie McCaw. The New Zealand openside looked like he could have been cited ahead of next week's final for a clash with Francois Louw during Saturday's semi-final.
But instead of waiting for the full deadline from the citing commissioner, World Rugby has announced that McCaw doesn't have a case to answer.

No word has been said about whether Francois Louw has escaped punishment for the headbutt in the same play:
