The Crusaders defeated the Chiefs 27 - 13 in the first Super Rugby semi-final in difficult conditions at the AMI Stadium in Christchurch.

Winger Israel Dagg may not score an easier try than the one scored today when the Chiefs winger James Lowe was gobbled up in a tackle while attempting a clearance kick. The ball fell right into the path of the oncoming All Black winger to touch the ball down unopposed.

Although it was slightly unlucky from the Leinster bound Lowe, it happened in a crucial period of the match when the game was delicately poised at 10 - 6 just after half time.
