A homecoming event for the Grand Slam-winning Ireland team, which was due to be held at the Aviva Stadium on Sunday evening, has been cancelled due to weather conditions.
"We regret to announce that planned homecoming for the Grand Slam Champions has been cancelled due to the adverse weather conditions. Thank you for your incredible support throughout the campaign," reads a statement from Irish rugby.
A free entry event, the homecoming was due to be held at 4:30pm.
Speaking on Sunday morning's Marian Finucane Show on RTÉ Radio One, Joe Schmidt said he was disappointed that the Ireland team would not get a chance to thank to fans in Dublin this evening. He added that 30,000 tickets had been ordered for the event.
