It’s been a fine end to the year for the Irish Rugby team, wrapping up their unbeaten Autumn Nations Series campaign with a 13-10 win over the Springboks.
Their strong finish to the calendar year has cemented Andy Farrell’s side’s place atop the world rankings and Ireland find themselves favourites to win the 2023 Six Nations, with round 1 kicking off away to Wales on February 4th.
So to cap off a great year, Irish Rugby stars Craig Casey, Andrew Porter and Tadgh Beirne sat down for some ‘Crackers and Cheese’, a Christmas dinner like no other that featured some of the most fantastically cheesy Rugby-themed gags ever churned out.
We’ll be reverting back to the video for a chuckle if we ever find ourselves in try-ing times. The Hugo Keenan/Mothercare joke is our favourite, and we absolutely plan on rehashing it next time Hugo sells an opposition player a dummy.
‘Crackers and Cheese’ was produced in partnership with Aviva, the proud sponsor of the home of Irish Rugby, Aviva Stadium. As their Christmas gift to you, Aviva want to cover the cost of your Christmas dinner by giving away a €250 Perx gift card. You can check out the competition here, all you have to do is comment your cheesiest joke for a chance to win!
