Joe Schmidt has named his squad for the November internationals against South Africa, Fiji, and Argentina. The headline news is the exclusion of Simon Zebo, who has paid an early price for his decision to leave Munster at the end of this season.

Zebo will continue playing for Munster for the rest of the season (throughout the 2018 Six Nations) but, given today's news, it would appear that his international career will be suspended for the duration of his career away from Munster.

There are four uncapped internationals included in the Irish squad: Connacht's Bundee Aki (qualifying for Ireland under the residency rule), Leinster's Adam Byrne and Munster duo Chris Farrell and Darren Sweetnam.

Ireland face South Africa at the Aviva on November 11th, which is followed by the visits of Fiji and our old friends, Argentina.
