A World Cup camp can get claustrophic at times, which means the appearance of a high profile guest can lift the morale of a squad.
There have been some big names meeting the Irish rugby team. Usain Bolt's visit went down extremely well, and the Jamaican sprinter even had time to get tips of Mike Ross.
But Wednesday's night brought five huge Irish stars to dinner. Kilkenny hurling legend Henry Shefflin, Olympic silver medallist Sonia O'Sullivan, former boxing world champion Barry McGuigan, 20-time Champion Jockey AP McCoy, and former Ireland international Niall Quinn:
The five Irish sporting heroes all spoke for between five and ten minutes about the challenges that they have faced in their careers, ahead of Ireland's big clash with France on Sunday.
It was a very enjoyable evening and was real privilege to have been asked. #worldcupwinners🍀 https://t.co/u1vNuoqFbO
