Ireland's best looking player? The player you'd most like to get a selfie with? The pundit you'd most like to sit with? Ulster Bank Rugby have issued survey findings on Irish rugby fans today that throw up some rather surprising results.
First things first, Brian O'Driscoll was comfortably voted the greatest Irish back of all time with 75% of the 1,360 votes, while Paul O'Connell takes home the gong for the greatest Irish forward ever. Neither of these results come as a huge surprise but ...
What shocked me was that Gordon D'Arcy (19%) finished second to Cian Healy's monster truck (28%) as the player Irish people would most like to get a selfie with. No disrespect to Cian Healy but what about that D'Arcy beard? The beard people!
Rob Kearney has finally put one long-standing debate to bed after he was voted the best looking Irish player; taking home 34% of the vote as Tommy Bowe had to make do with second place with 17%. Bowe was constantly the bridesmaid in this survey, also finishing second in the player people most like following on Twitter – losing out to Brian O'Driscoll on this occasion.

Another result that I can't make head nor tail of is that George Hook is the pundit Irish fans would most like to sit beside during a Grand Slam decider. What? Why?
Hook beat Conor O'Shea by 3% for reasons beyond my comprehension.
Although I'd have personally went for Wales, the team Irish fans get most enjoyment from beating is England. 68% of those surveyed chose the English while 15% said they like beating France the most.
Let's hope all those Irish fans will be happy come 15 March. Here's the full infographic of Ulster Bank Rugby's results...
