'Ireland's Call' is a song which the majority of Irish sports fans would agree is awful.
Somehow, before Ireland took on New Zealand in Chicago, organisers of the game made it even worse.
A surreal, ultra-Oirish violin rendition of Phil Coulter's number united viewers in disbelief.
Well, that's about it for Ireland's Call, then.

Ireland's Call is crap on a fiddle too. Who knew?

Ireland's Call is bad enough without the violinist killing it...that was awful #IREvNZL

It was a version which laid on the diddly-aye in dollops.
Though, given the performance by Joe Schmidt's side in the first half, maybe it's something we should consider being performed before all games in future.
