We all know that Ireland's cal is.. Divisive at best when it comes to the song being blasted around the Aviva before our rugby internationals, but it's always odd to see what happens when it has to be played on foreign soil.
Down the years we've had some absolutely shocking versions, with the violin at Solider Field being right up there with the worst. There was also a techno-remix for the U20s before, so we were expecting something goofy.
What we got was.. Different.
The reaction has not been positive, but you can't fault your man for giving it absolute welly.

As expected, it didn't go down so well.
Many people were quick to tweet their bemusement.
Well that is the most enthusiastic 'Ireland's Call' that has ever been sung... #IREvUSA

Strongest argument against Ireland's call (think it's important personally) is hearing people sing it #USAvIRE

Some rendition of Ireland's call. Only short of having midgets dressed up as Leprechauns bouncing around him
— Kildare Gunner (@KildareGunner) June 10, 2017
If the game is half as entertaining as that rendition of Ireland's call then we're in for a cracker #IREvUSA

You'd miss the army number 1 band for Ireland's call ...? #USAvIRE

Anything is better than the terrible violin rendition at Soldier Field. this was awful too. Wish @IrishRugby would do something about it

I'm not a huge fan of Ireland's Call as an anthem but that was just ridiculous.
