Ireland are currently taking on Australia in their opening game of the Women's Rugby World Cup in UCD this evening.
Ireland took the lead on the 19th minute when scrum half Larissa Muldoon touched down after good work from Alison Miller inside Australia's 22.
That allowed the scrum-half to pick up the ball from the ruck and ghost through the fractured Wallabies defence and score for Ireland, outhalf Nora Stapleton added the conversion to put the women 7-0 up.

The score from the scrum-half looked to open the floodgates for the Irish but all credit to the Australian's as they struck back eight minutes later with a fabulous try from winger Mahalia Murphy.
Australia took a quick tap penalty outside the Irish 22 and all it took was two passes for the oncoming speedster Murphy to show some dazzling footwork to escape the Irish defenders before racing away inside the 22 and touchdown for a crucial try.
