Irish rugby fan Rose Waldron was so desperate to see Ireland play England at Twickenham that she paid seriously over the odds for a ticket on website Viagogo. €449 over the odds, in fact.
A ticket with a face value of €85 cost her €534. But that was not the most remarkable thing about it, the had originally been allocated to England out-half Owen Farrell.
Quoted on Independent.ie, Rose Waldron said:
I'd tried every other avenue and at 10pm on Friday night I decided to buy a ticket online. What a surprise when I received my ticket to find it was allocated to Owen Farrell of the England rugby team.
She also tweeteed a picture of the ticket of the ticket after the game on Saturday night.

According to the Indo, the RFU are looking into the matter and Farrell says the ticket had been originally intended for a relation of a friend.
