It has been confirmed that CJ Stander could miss up to four weeks after suffering a facial injury during Ireland's defeat to England on Saturday.
Stander's brother-in-law, South African Olympian Ryk Neethling, tweeted following the game that the backrow had suffered fractures to his cheek and eye socket.
Four weeks out would see Stander miss the games against Scotland and Italy. However, he could be back for the final two games of the tournament against France and Wales.
Devin Toner, who exited Saturday's game after 57 minutes due to injury, has aggravated an ankle problem. Garry Ringrose played 71 minutes against England and has also emerged as a doubt to face Scotland due to tightness in his hamstring. Both Toner and Ringrose will be assessed by the Irish medical team over the next 24 hours.
Keith Earls, who was substituted at half-time against England, has suffered a hip pointer injury which will be managed during the early part of the week.
Andrew Conway showed tightness in his calf following training on Thursday. He will rehab with Munster this week.
Ireland play Scotland at Murrayfield on Saturday afternoon.
