'Relentless - The Connacht Way' is a documentary that looks at Connacht's mixed 2021/22 season from a players perspective, and will be premiering on RTE1 on November 3rd at 10:15pm. The first documentary of its kind in the game of rugby, it offers an exciting glimpse into the realities of professional rugby.
The documentary is in association with Red Bull TV, who have released a 43 second trailer for the episode, which appears to show Connacht Rugby from behind the scenes. With the recent success of TV Shows such as 'Drive to Survive' and the rumoured documentary series for the upcoming Six Nations, rugby fans will be glued to their screens in 10 days time.
'Relentless - The Connacht Way' coming to RTÉ
The hour-long documentary will focus on three prominent Connacht Players: Bundee Aki, Thomas Farrell and Niall Murray, who talk about the demanding nature of playing rugby at a high level, overcoming various injury setbacks and the development process within the club. This personal access will give fans an exclusive look at their sporting heroes away from the pitch.

The trailer has given us a glimpse as to what the documentary will be like, with the primary focus seeming to be on the physical and mental strength required to play for the province and the pressures that come with it.

Speaking in the trailer, Bundee Aki described the demands of balancing provincial rugby, international rugby and family life, saying:
'It's about being relentless, you've got to have that attitude to succeed'
The documentary will take a look inside the Connacht squad throughout a series of highs and lows last year, with exclusive behind-the-scenes access to players and coaches in what was a mixed season for the province as they finished the year 11th in the league table, missing out on European Rugby.
