Thousands of Leinster Rugby fans have marched upon the French Embassy on Fitzwilliam Lane in protest at Bordeaux-Bégles' humiliating torture of Ian Madigan.
A clip of the 27-year-old Ireland international being forced to don a Christmas mankini of some description, alongside Australia's Adam Ashley-Cooper, has surfaced on the Canal Rugby Club Twitter account, drawing a mixed reaction from Irish rugby fans of varying sexual persuasions.
Madigan, unlike Ashley-Cooper, goes balls-in on the mankini side of the challenge - perhaps even a tad too gratuitously.
He's not shown jumping into what amounts to a shark tank of presumably very cold water, which would lead us to believe it's a mere teaser clip of an upcoming Canal Rugby Club episode, or it was indeed very, very cold, and he refused to sign over the rights to the footage - or perhaps more pertinently, inchage - of him re-emerging from his dive. Look, it's December.
