The Champions Cup final defeat to Ronan O’Gara’s La Rochelle, and the URC semi-final defeat to The Bulls will be firmly in the minds of Leinster’s players ahead of this weekend. Leo Cullen’s side were arguably second best in two games all season, and it cost them silverware. A Summer of searching for answers in both those games will have occupied the minds of the Leinster coaching staff.

Expect Zebre to target Leinster at the breakdown, where they came unstuck against more physical sides. Leinster will look to put down a marker this weekend with a convincing victory away from home to kick start the season.
