For Leinster, a nervy opening round win over Zebre was followed by a far more convincing win over Benetton at the RDS, with Dan Sheehan scoring four tries in  a comfortable 42-10 victory.

Team News

Due to the emerging Ireland tour in South Africa, Ulster are without Robert Baloucoune, Stewart Moore, Ethan McIlroy and Jake Flannery.

They make one change to the side that beat Scarlets, with Tom O'Toole in for Marty Moore.

The big news for Leinster is the return of Johnny Sexton, who is among the replacements for Friday's clash. Ross Byrne is in for Ciarán Frawley, while Jack Conan comes in for Calen Doris.

Leinster have a number of injuries coming into Friday’s clash, with Doris, James Lowe and Hugo Keenan and Frawley all ruled out through injury. Max Deegan, Scott Penny and Joe McCarthy are among the Leinster players with the emerging Ireland squad.
