Form Guide

There’s no two ways about it, Munster are in big trouble. Three defeats in their opening four games, no second half tries scored yet and repetitive basic errors has been the story of their season so far. Experienced players have underperformed, while Emerging Ireland came at the worst possible time. While a certain level of patience is needed when a new coaching ticket comes in, Munster need to turn around results quickly in order to save their season, with a daunting run of fixtures coming up.

For the Bulls, they have continued playing some brilliant attacking rugby that go them to last season’s final. They suffered their first defeat last weekend to Glasgow. The South African claimed a huge scalp in the RDS in June and will look to do the same in Thomond on Saturday.

Team News

Munster have made a number of changes to the side that lost to Connacht. Joey Carbery moves to fly-half, with Ben Healy dropped from the squad. Shane Daly and Calvin Nash come straight into the side from the Emerging Ireland tour, with Patrick Campbell moving to full back. Edwin Edogbo makes his first ever start for the province, with Jack Crowley on the bench.

The Bulls are captained by former Ulster back-row Marcel Coetzee, in what should be a hugely physical encounter in Limerick.
