Form Guide
Leo Cullen's men will be coming into this game by being first in the league with 66 points and an 18 game winning streak.
The last time these two teams met was over a year ago in February 2022, in the URC. Leinster had a comfortable win over Edinburgh, 26-7, at home in the RDS Arena.
The last game for Leinster was at home against Welsh side Newport Dragons. Everything went as planned as they trashed the Dragons 43-14, scoring not less than seven tries!
Cullen will without a doubt build on those previous games to prepare this game against Edinburgh.
There is more pressure on the Scottish side and it would become more than harder for Edinburgh to make it to the playoffs if they lose this weekend. It will be most certainly their hardest game of the season but they will have to give everything they've got if they want to beat Leinster and catch up on eight placed Connacht.
Only the top 8 teams make it to the playoffs and Edinburgh are currently sitting 11th on 31 points. However if results go their way they could be in 8th position with three games remaining in the league.
The last couple of games were very tough for Mike Blair's team. In their last seven URC games they've only won one of them against Zebre in January. They will have to turn things around if they don't want their league season to ens earlier than wanted.
Their last result was a 42-14 defeat to 14th side Scarlets in the URC. It is their worst result this season and they will have to forget that trip to Wales in order to focus on today's game against Leinster.
Team News
Leinster will keep 13 out of the 15 players that started against the Dragons with Ciaran Frawley returning to the starting lineup. South African second row player Jason Jenkins will get his first start since December.
