We all know that for true Christians, Sunday is the Lord's day. As for Easter, now that is really THE Lord's day. Ulster Rugby understands this better than anyone. But the good heathens at the ERC have disrupted Ulster's plans for winning their Heineken Cup quarterfinal in Limerick immensely by scheduling it for Easter Sunday. The fixture creates an immediate conflict for the Ulsterman - spend the week studying game tape and trying to understand how to break Munster's will or go to Church to contemplate how God could let his own son die on the cross before praising the majesty of resurrection. You can't do both well. Then again, as Brian McLoughlin might say, Jesus didn't die so that Ulster could drive across Ireland to ship a hammering to O'Gara (who might actually be God) and co.
