Ireland recorded a brilliant victory over Australia in Vannes on day one of the IRB Junior World Championships.
Four Penalties and a conversion from centre Tom Daly and a try from Rory Scholes saw Ireland close out a 19-15 win
This is the second year in a row that Mike Ruddock's side have defeated more physically developed southern hemisphere opposition after beating South Africa last year. Ireland still face a difficult task to qualify for the semi-finals with New Zealand, winners of four of the last five tournaments, and Fiji to come in the group stages.
