Last week it was Sean O'Brien who was linked with a move to Toulon, this week it is Jamie Heaslip.
According to Gerry Thornley in The Irish Times, Heaslip's "agents" (he has more than one?) will meet with Toulon this week to discuss a possible move for the Ireland and Leinster number eight. Montpellier are also said to be interested in acquiring his services.
Thornley adds that Leinster believe Heaslip would like to remain at the province but that would rely upon him accepting a contract worth less than he could earn in the Top 14.
With the emergence of Jordi Murphy recently, the loss of Heaslip would likely be less of a loss to Leinster than if Sean O'Brien became the 'Toulon Tank'.
