The first half for Ireland at the Stade de France was an attritional 40 minutes. You also get the feeling that the citing commissioner is going to be all over Guy Noves' side during the week.
Johnny Sexton took a dirty cheap shot from France second row Yoann Maestri which resulted in Ireland first score of the game. Five minutes later, Sean O'Brien departed, replaced by Tommy O'Donnell with what looked like a knee injury.
After half an hour, Dave Kearney also had to be replaced after he took a nasty hit from France hooker and captain Guilhem Guirado.
According to Joe Schmidt after the game, Kearney has AC shoulder injury, and could be out for a number of months.
We lost Dave Kearney in and I think he's got an AC injury, which will probably keep him out for some time.
That's high from Guirado with little attempt to wrap his arms.
The reaction from Twitter was one of anger.
Can someone please explain how France haven't had two yellow cards for guirado and maestri?

No replay of the hit on D Kearney by the French producer.
I for one am shocked.

Watching a replay of Guirado’s hit on Dave Kearney. So dangerous. Shocking not to go to the TMO. Citing commissioner will be busy next week.
