Graham Rowntree says that major coaching appointments at Munster will be "sorted over the next couple of weeks".
Last week, Rowntree was confirmed as successor to Johann van Graan as Munster head coach. The 50-year-old Englishman, who had been favourite to take over from the South African, has been the forwards coach at Thomond Park since late 2019.
Along with Rowntree, new backroom team appointments will have to be made as defence coach JP Ferreira is heading to Bath with Van Graan, and attack coach Stephen Larkham is also departing.
"I'm speaking to people," Rowntree told The Rugby Pod.
"I'm not going to lie, I've been speaking to people for a couple of months. Within the whole interview process, I've got to have had a plan, and put names forward. I'm speaking to those guys now. That's coming to a head now. That'll be sorted over the next couple of weeks.
"Now is the time to get things in place for next season. We're trying to get that worked out with coaches coming in. There are certain things we've got to get in place for next season. It's a busy couple of weeks.
"The guys within the organisation, certainly the players, know my style, what I want to do. The guys I want to bring in are fairly similar to me. I need to get that nailed over the next couple of weeks, and within a few days of pre-season, they'll know what we are doing, and how I want to change things."

Asked how much influence the IRFU has on the Munster style of play, Rowntree replied: "There's freedom to do what you want to do, but you have to respect and understand what is working nationally. Clearly, Andy [Farrell] has them playing in a certain way that is undeniable. You'd be a fool not to follow what they're doing."
Rowntree added that there will not be any more signings for the 2022/23 season.
"We're good," he said.
"There's nothing more to be done recruitment-wise. I'm happy with where we're at. We've got a great squad. We've got a load of good lads coming through. Just right about now, there's a load of lads pushing. We know what's coming through under that. We know what's coming through in the school system. It's a good project."
