Ronan O'Gara is really taking this social media thing too far. His twitter follower contest with BOD was a bit unseemly, but in the end forgivable. But starring in a viral that involves him singing Queen, might just be a step too far. Conceptually, this video ad for sat nav video Tom Tom is exasperating. Are we really supposed to believe that Ronan O'Gara would actually drive these three randomers around Cork? How come they're not moving? Are they supposed to be in traffic? At the height of the Tiger, it was BOD who gained the reputation as a shamless advertiser. I hope O'Gara doesn't spend the twilight of his great career pimping products online.
