The Barbarians vs Australia at Twickenham on Saturday was a cracker of a game. A major factor in this was the number of New Zealanders in the Baa-Baas side.
There was some seriously inventive play during the match with a particular highlight being a lineout thrown American football-style by All Black Steven Luatua. It wasn't the straightest lineout ever though, and also there was a knock on from Nick Cummins.
Barbarians coach John Kirwan said that Luatua had played some American football in school and that he had seen him make the throw during training so he told him that he had to attempt it during the game.
