It looked like Munster might drop more points against Welsh opposition but this is Munster we're talking about so as long as they were within touching distance of the Cardiff Blues, there was always going to be a chance. And so it proved.
After Adam Jones' attempt at drop goal stardom, Cardiff edged in front through the boot of Gareth Davies. With time running out, the Munster physicality kicked in and eventually the ball found it's way to Paddy Butler who crossed to put Anthony Foley's men in front. Jonathan Holland added the extras to leave the score 28-24 at the final whistle.
