An 18-9 lead at half-time in Glasgow and things were looking quite good for Munster. Fast forward 40 minutes and a strong Glasgow resurgence coupled with some profligate Munster play saw an nine point lead turn into a 21-18 defeat.
First half tries from JJ Hanrahan and Robin Copeland looked to have set Munster up perfectly but Glasgow came out stronger after half time and Leone Nakarawa crossed to bring the Scots within touching distance. Two missed penalties from Hanrahan had the feeling of mistakes that may be punished and so it proved when Jonny Gray peeled off the back of the ruck following some good Munster defence to score an easier try than he may have expected.
