The All Blacks overcame Argentina 28-9 in McLean Park, Napier this morning. As expected, it was a brutally physical encounter. Here's gigantic Kiwi lock Brodie Retallick getting a faceful of studs while bravely attempting to charge down a box kick by Argentine scrumhalf Martín Landajo.
As ugly as it looked, the connection was almost certainly accidental on Landajo's part. Luckily, Retallick's eye escaped any damage.
Between Retallick's facial features, physical presence and reckless disregard for his personal safety, there are shades of Richard Dunne in Moscow about this clash. Oh, and the fact that Dunne's legendary display in 2011 also happened on September 6.
