The North Queensland Cowboys beat the Canberra Raiders 20-16 in the NRL.
It was a game which finished with one of the most freakish tries ever seen - one which caused commentator Andrew Voss to declare, 'I've never seen the likes of it'.
The game was tied at 16-16 in the 84th minute when Johnathan Thurston attempted what would have been a game-winning drop goal - the game was in sudden death overtime.
However, the ball hit the underside of the crossbar, bounced down and just managed to stay in play.
Gavin Cooper took advantage of some slack reactions from the Raiders defence to touchdown and give his side the win.
What an incredible start to the NRL season.
