Leinster's transfer talk has been more centred on incomings rather than outgoings in recent months but star centre Garry Ringrose is reportedly the subject of interest from abroad.

The province has outstanding depth, bringing in RG Snyman ahead of this season while also bolstering their ranks with All Blacks star Jordie Barrett, who is in line to make his debut on Sunday.

The two international superstars, coupled with the depth illustrated by the presence of Irish Test stars throughout their ranks, has made them top contenders to end their patient wait for a major trophy.

Leinster's starting XV for Sunday's trip to Bristol Bears is laden with talent, with the familiar midfield duo of Garry Ringrose and Robbie Henshaw partnering one another as they have done to great effect for Ireland in the past.

Ringrose, who was a co-captain with Leinster last season, is still one of the first names on the Leinster teamsheet but that has not stopped European rivals from reportedly expressing an interest in the 29-year-old.

The exciting outside centre has been the subject of interest from French Top 14 side Perpignan, according to French news outlet Actu Rugby.

It is reported that the Perignan have 'inquired' about the availability of Ringrose as they look to strengthen their backline.

The report has also claimed that discussions between the two parties have been challenged by Ringrose's salary demands.

"While there is real interest in the man who has worn the Leinster colours since his debut in 2015, the discussions are nevertheless complicated. The Irishman's salary demands are high and, at the time of writing, are a brake on negotiations."

Such a move for Ringrose would be a major surprise given his continued importance to Irish rugby at international level.

The Blackrock College alumnus is in the prime years of his career and is one of the outstanding players in his position worldwide.

Perpignan currently find themselves 11th in the Top 14 table, having lost seven of their 11 matches this season.

They are due to welcome the challenge of Connacht in the Challenge Cup on December 15.
