France head coach Phillipe Saint Andre has named his 31-man squad for the World Cup after his side's victory over England last night.

The likes of Freddie Michalak, Yoann Huget, Rory Kockott and Thierry Dusautoir are likely to be Ireland's biggest challengers in Pool D of the tournament - whilst Clermont's Camille Lopez, Montpeiller's Francois Trinh-Duc, and Johnny Sexton's former team-mates Maxime Machenaud and French sensation Teddy Thomas also miss out.

Jamie Heaslip will be able to renew his rivalry with Pascal Pape after the second row kneed Heaslip in the back breaking a vertebrae in the Six Nations clash between the two countries.
