England U20s hosted Wales U20s in their Six Nations clash at the Recreation Ground in Bath yesterday evening, with the home side winning out 28-7.
The result puts England at the top of the table, one point ahead of Ireland, after two bonus point victories in their opening games.
U20s Six Nations Referee Produces Cracking Line
Refereeing the game was South Africa's Aimee Barrett-Theron, who earlier in the year, became one of a record five women to be included on her country's national match official panel for 2024.
The general consensus was that she had a fine game overall, although one first-half moment in particular stood out.
After tempers flared over, she called both captains - Finn Carduff and Harri Ackerman - to her side, and gave them a dressing down which made the two U20s specimens seem more like two little naughty boys:
You know what boys. I'm not mad, I'm just really disappointed, because both gave me buy-in before the game, in the changing room, that you would be able to control your players.
So did you lie to me or is it something you can fix from now?
