Tom Curry has had what will probably be his last say on the unfortunate incident between himself Bongi Mbonambi, which during England and South Africa's World Cup semi-final.
Curry alleged that Mbonambi had called him a "white c**t", although the South African hooker explained that what he said was "wit kant", which is Afrikaans for 'white side'.
Tom Curry Has Further Say On Mbonambi Incident
An investigation was launched by World Rugby, but ultimately no action was taken against Mbonambi. However, Curry remains adamant about what he heard.
I didn’t really want to speak about it from the start. For me, on both occasions, the ball was out of play. Me and Bongi were talking and there’s no misunderstanding from my part. I went to the referee straight away.
I heard what I heard. That’s all I really want to say about it and I won’t really be talking about it again.

Bongi Mbonambi on his alleged racial slur to Tom Curry and the RFU’s reaction:
"I think it is a very sad thing when you live in a first world country [England], you think the rest of the world speaks English," Mbonambi told BBC Sport Africa.

The incident became somewhat of a running joke in South Africa, with the Mayor of Cape Town, Geordin Hill-Lewis, seen sporting a t-shirt with the words 'wen kant', which means winning side. He then gifted Mbonambi with one.
Curry's family were then involved in the situation, and received abuse online, which Curry also spoke about in his exclusive with the Daily Mail.
"It was tough for my family, my girlfriend and my brother. It was a tough experience but it is what it is. The investigation’s been done and that’s all I want to say about it."
