Manu Tuilagi is out, Dylan Hartley is out and now Stuart Lancaster has to deal with some more trouble ahead of the build up to the World Cup. Danny Cipriani was arrested early on Monday morning on suspicion of drink driving following a car crash in West London.
A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police confirmed that a collision had taken place but that no injuries were reported.
Police were called at approximately 5.15am on Monday, 1 June to reports of two cars in collision in Imperial Road, SW6. No reports of any injuries.
The cars involved were a silver Toyota Prius and a black Mercedes C63. The driver of the Mercedes, a 27-year-old man, was arrested on suspicion of drink driving.
He was taken to a west London police station where he was later released on police bail. Return date to be confirmed.
This is not the first time the Cipriani has made headlines for the wrong reasons. Despite that, he had seemed to have resurrected his career of late and was hopeful of a place in Lancaster's final squad for the World Cup. Where this latest alleged indiscretion leaves those hopes are as yet unclear.
