The Sunday Times reported this weekend that former Ireland head coach, Eddie O'Sullivan, is taking high court action against George Hook for what he claims were defamatory comments.

Hook alleged in an interview with Club Rugby magazine, which was published in March, that O'Sullivan had once attempted to have him removed from RTÉ as a rugby analyst.
O'Sullivan has denied the allegations and has named the publishers of Club Rugby and Independent Newspapers (which carried the magazine as a free pull out) in his legal action.
