Northampton hooker Dylan Hartley who is no stranger to controversy has been cited for an alleged elbow on Ulster's Rory Best. The incident took place in Ulster's victory over the Saints in Franklin's Gardens on Friday night.
In the video below, Hartley is seen on top of Best off the ball and appears to have a couple of forearm shots at the Irish hooker. Hartley has previously been handed a 26-week ban for gouging two Wasps players, James Haskell and Jonny O'Connor back in 2007. If he is again found guilty in this instance, he could well have another hefty ban coming his way.
When asked about the incident after the game, Hartley responded; “I don’t think it was an incident.”
