The Pro14 enters a new era this weekend.
South Africa's Cheetahs and Southern Kings enter the league this weekend, but if an article by South African website IOL is to be believed, the knowledge of the Pro14 in the needs improving.
Both sides begin their campaigns away from home with the Cheetahs in Belfast facing Ulster on Friday night. The following day, the Southern Kings are in Wales facing last year's champions, the Scarlets.
While the IOL article is more so about the state of the Curry Cup, they show their basic ignorance to the tournament and its team.
From calling it the "Pro 16" at one point, it's their description of Munster that amuses.
The reality is that the Cheetahs have taken their best 28 players on tour to the North for two matches - against Ulster and then Dublin giants Munster - in what was the Pro 12, before the Kings and Cheetahs were added after being cut from Super Rugby.
Dublin giants Munster? Dublin? Munster?
Munster are one of the biggest names in rugby, synonymous with Limerick's Thomond Park. To say they're from Dublin wont please many in the south of the country.
"so that nationwide viewers can watch the Kings play the Scarlets (from Cardiff)"

It wasn't the only geographical mishap in the article. The Scarlets are seemingly based in Cardiff, the same city that's home to the Cardiff Blues. Poor Llanelli.
We look forward to seeing the South African sides in Galway to face Leinster, and Limerick to face Connacht.
