Donncha O'Callaghan has invited the scorn of English rugby fans for his antics in a fraught, 23-8 victory over London Irish. Early in the second half, O'Callaghan found himself irate at the dissolution of a ruck. In petulance, he grabbed a hold of Saia Fainga'a's dreadlocks, and gave them a yank.
Fainga'a slapped O'Callaghan across the face in anger, the force of which the Irishman possibly exaggerated. Watch the incident below.

Neither player was shown a card as the dispute lingered into a second minute. The latter half of the assertion by BT Sport commentator, David Flatman that the slap "either dazed Donncha O'Callaghan or he's taken a dive" was seized upon by plenty of English rugby fans online, along with a couple of well-known names.

O'Callaghan's Worcester held out for an important victory which leaves them ten points clear of Irish, who prop up the table.
