Balls.ie headed out to the launch of Vodafone's #TeamOfUs Shirt Swap last week and in the true spirit of swapping old for new, presented Donncha O'Callaghan with his most awkward conundrum since he entered a lineout versus Cardiff in his Y-fronts back in 2006.
The former Munster and Ireland legend was tasked with swapping out three members of the 2009 Grand Slam-winning Ireland team for three younger Ireland stand-outs, in what the Cork man would later describe as "the toughest test of my professional career".
Indeed, the 37-year-old, who's still going strong with Worcester Warriors in the Aviva Premiership, was initially reluctant to make any amendments to what he labelled 'the perfect team', but eventually felt he'd get away with sacrificing two teammates in particular.
Find out how he got on below:
Donncha O’Callaghan was on hand to launch the Vodafone #TeamOfUs Shirt Swap in Dublin City Centre last week. From Saturday 15th October Vodafone customers can swap their old Irish rugby jerseys to get 50% off the brand new Ireland home jersey by simply dropping off their old jersey at any Vodafone store nationwide. Numbers are limited, so fans are encouraged to act fast to avoid disappointment.
