It was perhaps surprising that Munster stalwart Donncha O'Callaghan was looking to leave the province after 17 years service to the Red Army.
O'Callaghan is looking for more gametime after the emergence of Billy Holland and Dave Foley, whilst Donnacha Ryan's recovery from injury and the signing of Australian international Mark Chisholm to replace O'Connell mean that game time will be difficult for the Cork man.
It looks like the second row will be joining Dean Ryan at newly promoted Worcester Warriors - joining former Ulster hooker Niall Annett and former Munster academy lock Darren O'Shea - according to the42.ie
O'Callaghan is reportedly set to agree a deal in the coming days, and the 36-year-old is looking to extend his career for as long as possible.
