Former England, out-half, Danny Cipriani, spent last night in hospital after being hit by a bus while on a night out with teammates in Leeds. They were on a pub crawl known locally as the 'Otley Run'.
From BBC.co.uk:
Cipriani suffered concussion and was kept in hospital overnight where he has undergone X-rays.
BBC Sport's Alastair Eykyn said the 25-year-old is understood to have been running across the road and misjudged the speed of the bus while on a night out with team-mates.
Further details on his condition are currently unavailable.
Quoted in The Sun, Cipriani's manager, James Williamson said:
Danny’s spending the night in hospital. X-rays and scans will be carried out overnight. He’s obviously in pain. He was running across the road and just misjudged the speed of the bus.
Cipriani has seven England caps and join Sale Sharks last year.
