Harlequins director of rugby Conor O'Shea was extremely disappointed by the schemozzle at the end of Saturday's game against Leinster. The former Ireland full-back refused to name names, but he was not pleased with how one of the Leinster players behaved during the incident in the closing stages of the weekend.
He was asked directly whether the player he was referring to was Dominic Ryan, he said:
It was much ado about nothing. I was very disappointed with the reaction of one of their players but it's done.
O'Shea was relieved that nothing came of the penalty, and that Harlequins hung on for a potentially vital losing bonus point. The London based club now hold the advantage in the head to head against Leinster, by virtue of tries and points difference against the Irish province. With Wasps at home and Castres away to come for O'Shea's men, they look in pole position to grab top spot in the pool.
