Conor Murray may now be honour bound to attend a Debs dance in Dunboyne Castle on September 1st.
The very game @nicole_fitz98 tweeted the Irish scrum half a few days ago asking him would he come to the Debs if she got 150 retweets.
@ConorMurray_9 if I get 150 RTs will you come debs with me ?? pic.twitter.com/Shv8mO0fS1

Her campaign started slowly by all accounts. She looked set to fall well shy of the total.
All we can say is that if it was Murray's intention to steer clear of the Debs dance, then he made a strategic error in tweeting the girl to tell her that her campaign wasn't looking good.
Ironically, this course of action seems to have given her the turbo-charged boost she needed to cross the 150 retweet threshold.
@nicole_fitz98 it's not looking good so far is it? ??

If, on the other hand, it was his desire to attend the debs all along then engaging with the girl on twitter was an ingenious move.
Her friends have been reacting opportunistically to this development. @Ni14mh joined the conversation, telling Murray that if he attended the debs with her friend, she'd be generous enough to allow Ian Madigan come to hers.
@nicole_fitz98 @ConorMurray_9 if you go on her debs I'll let your mate Ian Madigan come on mine x

It's clear now that Murray must attend this debutant dance. Rugby men and all that.
If Nigel Owens was here, he'd surely say that backing out now would be the act of a morally suspect individual, one who likely engages in soccer.
