Connacht travel to URC rivals Benetton for the quarter-finals of the European Challenge Cup this Sunday. Here's all you need to know about Connacht v Benetton.
The western province had a late comeback win away in Pau last weekend winning by a 40-30 score line. The victory was a welcome result after two defeats on the spin, first at home to the Lions and then the same fixture this weekend away to Benetton. Connacht lost out 18-14 that day in a tight game and head coach Pete Wilkins will hope his side will be buoyed by the win against Pau and come out on the right side this time.
Benetton had a home victory against the Lions last weekend to set up this quarter-final. The Italian side had been struggling in recent weeks, however, they've steadied the ship following the return of a raft of internationals to the squad. Head coach Marco Bortolami will no doubt see this competition as a real chance of silverware although Wilkins will have his own ideas.
