It was a much-improved performance from Ireland today as they got their first win of this year's Six Nations against Italy. Ireland ran out 63-10 winners against the Italians in a performance that included hat-tricks from CJ Stander and Craig Gilroy.
Stander picked up another man-of-the-match award for his performance. To give you some idea, these were his half-time stats:
Stander still at the top.
15 carries, 2 tries, 36m made and 4 defenders beaten. Zebo still not too far behind. #ITAvIRE

It really was the complete performance from the Munster man. It even included an absolute gem of a kick to set up Craig Gilroy for his hat-trick try:

Gilroy's second try wasn't too shabby either - demonstrating the Ulsterman's brilliant footwork.
While Stander became the first forward in the Six Nations to score a hat-trick, Gilroy's hat-trick created its own little bit of history.
