Ireland number 8 CJ Stander has today been nominated for International try of the year by World Rugby. The 28-year-old was nominated alongside Scotland's Sean Maitland and New Zealand pair Brodie Retallick and Beauden Barrett.
It was Stander's try against England in the Six Nations that gets the nod for the prestigious award, the Munster man breaking through after brilliant work by Tadhg Furling and Bundee Aki.
It was Ireland's second try of the afternoon, with Joe Schmidt's men eventually going on to secure a 24-15 win which secured the Grand Slam at Twickenham.
Maitland's try against England is also up for the prize as well as Retallick's and Barrett's sweeping scores against Australia.
