Johnny Sexton has been a target from a range of people in this year's Six Nations. The victim of several cheap shots and WWE moves from opposition players - Sexton was abused by former players for his "acting" to the referee after being turned upside down by Scotland's Alex Dunbar.
Imagine that, a player with a well-documented case of head issues who has been heavily targeted -grabbing his head after being flipped over against his will.
But the most popular person in Ireland right now - CJ Stander - elevated himself even higher by sticking up for his outhalf via Independent.ie:
In rugby if you have an injury you stay down; if you don't, you get straight back up.
I've got massive respect for Johnny, he's a tough guy, and a player who would never milk a penalty like that, it's just not something he'd do.
If he has an injury he'll sit down, and that's just what happened.
Who is going to argue with Stander? Case closed.
