Brian O'Driscoll is a rising name in the analyst world. In the latest BT Sport clinic, O'Driscoll, with the help of Northampton centre Luther Burrell, and Austin Healey, gives a brilliant example of one method of creating a linebreak.
O'Driscoll has been very good at illustrating some of the subtleties involved in attacking play, and this is no different. Using an example from Matt Hopper from Harlequins in their loss to Leinster last week, O'Driscoll et al explain the concept of "loading a defender". His explanation of giving the defender a decision to make, while picking up on the visual cues, to make the biggest gain in attack.
