Simon Zebo continues to make his case for an Ireland recall, with the 33-year old producing a top performance as Munster defeated Toulon 29-18 away from home in their Champions Cup clash this afternoon.
The province entered this fixture knowing that a victory would be needed in order to get their European campaign back on track, having failed to win in either of their opening two games.
While they would concede the first try of the game, Munster would respond with some brilliant scores of their own. That included this effort from Zebo to put them into the lead, collecting a brilliant kick from Jack Crowley before touching down.

Sensational stuff.
Munster would extend their lead in the second half, going on to secure the bonus point on the back of this stunning take in the air and finish from Calvin Nash.

Brian O'Driscoll backs Simon Zebo for Ireland recall
Making his first Champions Cup appearance in 18 months, this performance from Simon Zebo was a timely reminder of what he can still offer at the highest level.
With Ireland currently experiencing an injury crisis in the backline, could he be in line for an unlikely recall to the squad ahead of the Six Nations?
Speaking on TNT Sports, Brian O'Driscoll suggested that it could be a possibility.
This guy has a terrific record, Simon Zebo, in scoring tries in Europe, be it for Munster or for Racing 92 who he was with for three seasons.
This is his first game for over 18 months in the Champions Cup for Munster and he is delivering at fullback.
Maybe he is an outside shot for inclusion in the Ireland squad for this year's Six Nations.
Simon Zebo has not played for Ireland since 2017, prior to his move to Racing 92. While it was assumed that he would come back into the fold after his return to Munster in 2021, he has yet to be recalled by Andy Farrell.
However, the Englishman knows the player well having coached him while he was part of Joe Schmidt's Irish staff.
It will be interesting to see if the Cork man gets the nod when the squad is named next week. Based on current form, you certainly could not argue that he wouldn't deserve it.
