It has been a nervous wait over the last few weeks for Leinster and Irish rugby fans as they waited to see if Brian O'Driscoll would play one more year for club and country. That issue was resolved this morning with the news that O'Driscoll has signed a new one year deal, as the nation breathed a collective sigh of relief.

Now that he is playing until 2014 he may as well play one just one more tiny year to take him up to the 2015 World Cup.
